in 2023 everything needs disclaiming :
  1. We are not human, we will have nothing to do with a species thats killing the planet on which we are stuck in this body thats deteriorating without any means of fixing it, they say its time but where we come from time has not been proven to exist. We think its corrosion due to the toxic atmosphere their presence creates.
  2. atm there should be no crumbs of any kind. If we end up using jquery or -ui thats their problem but we assume they dont track in their plugins tho its probably not below them.
  3. All content here on /VocoreCat is a journey and observations. THESE ARE NOT TUTORIALS - if you brick or break your stuff doing anything thats listed here, dont call us ... call ... i dont know ... someone else.
  4. to be all and in honest -y : before september we wouldnt been able to explain the difference between a Volt and an Amp but we have programmed a few lines since the kid so if we say something stupid and a straggler alien passing by reading it : we LOVE to be corrected and learn from it with facts, do mail
aBOOT:
Design=NULL, it will fall into its inevitable place over time. We call it "the way of the universe"

`But its not a raspberry Pi?`
As you so eloquently state, it is indeed NOT. It is also not a sega megadrive or a steam deck. We , alas , fail to see your point there. Its a 400+mhz 32bit MIPS controller based mini-est pc of mini-pcs thats a router but also not just . (it is also not a hair dryer btw). We looked around but couldnt find "made in belgium" by a guy who did it after hours in his small appartment all by himself. So if you wanna do better ... PLEASE DO, WE LOVE STUFF LIKE THIS !

Useful places if you're into this stuff:
-
https://vocore.io/ ... for obvious reasons and quite related
https://www.youtube.com/@BenEater ... nothing vocore itself but electronics for enthusiasts which, ... depending on what you want you'll eventually run into some kind of this and personally we feel mister Eater missed a career in teaching (or maybe he has one hahah). Whatever we link here will be orbiting around "project vocore" in some way and as it says "WE" are not tutorials (its also a fast-handy way to get to all the relevant bits)
Secondary (generic-general):
-
Nerds Lesson : Basic Electronics back in september(2022) we decided it was time to find something to do to preserve mental stability. At that time there wasnt gonna be enough electricity for anyone by january ofcourse (but they probably meant '25). This is the first electronics class we took in life. Average Joe (...not so) with plenty of literal hardcore field experience teaching washington college ... NOW YOU CAN HAS FOR FREE!
Engineering Mindset : Electricity Basics
the intention is not to describe our journey in detail here, we personally feel the inquisitive mind is best left to it and given the option to ask questions when it wants, so the inquisitive mind can probably google to their own specific needs, the site is not a linklist. Theres TONS an TONS of good stuff and about 100times that TONS of crud - you should see for yourself and decide. We always felt school might actually have worked for us if they just let us do and gave (capable ... ) people around to ask questions to when needed but alas "to quote Ice-T" - so we are really really stupid now and dont even have a high-school degree by the state...what a wonderful world.
also : "some" experience with linux CLI is probably not a bad idea since we wont explain what ls and cd are either while speaking in tongues. mostly those things are the same but ash probably has a few less options than full bash (because its for embedded systems) which we'll find out soon enough (in our time-stream that is)

images we checked so far / use and download at your own risk tho we wouldnt link them here if we thought it was fishy we take no responsibility for you.
this assumes flashing the image from LUCI (web-interface), option "keep settings" UNchecked, and checking right after install what works and what doesnt
click the link "on install" to check the description
ftr: the stock images are probably built for the vocore without any additives so out of the box none of the ultimate extras will work - so far we also havent found a pre-built image for 19/20/21/22openWRT for vocore2-Ultimate (which is weird b/c the same img built once should work for all voc2/U sold) - that would be kinda handy for someone who just wants to go at it, but im sure we'll figure out the build somehow 20230222 - the replacement picoPSU and replacement multimeter (for the one we blew up) arrived so will install that, its not like this is urgent before ragnarok (or anything at all) - so we are probably under suspicion of druglord again (salems lot is salems lot, no matter where you are) for strange packages dropped at the door by brown men. ... mmmwelll, if you didnt stick us here we would be somewhere possible running biz with enough to medium money or some lucky extras and very likely afford a soldering iron and perfectly capable of fixing the previous psu which still seems to work when hacking it with two clothespins ... but since we are here, stuck , poor and unlike americans here you cant "just stop being poor" we cant do that ... the new one cost more , but trying again with paste for the old one is almost the price of a new one ... tell that to yo momma, bitch, and zenigata, and whoever stuck us here : VENDETTA

nothing on this site, subsites or main site has been generated using a.i. barring temp logos like the current with cooltext.com, third party insertions like jquery or phaser are not our responsibility either. Everyone does as they want if they dont get up our arse or in our panties. Our privacy is not for sale and no one is invited to peek (if you are we'll let you know, theres no default "come in" setting). Personally though, if we feel we cant come up with a title or a page of write , a block of code and have to ask an a.i. to do it and then backpat ourselves on the good work, wed rather take a break b/c we couldnt live with the feeling that the we have insulted the gods who blessed us with the anomaly of creative forces - ... please dont submit anything written by a.i. on any of the sites either - its not like we sit scrutinizing, if you wanna cheat yourself into thinking what a great creator you are theres words for that but out of the scope, thx very much.
